🕯️ Welcome to ChatMystery
A quiet little game, run by two friends with too much imagination and just enough free time.
ChatMystery is a text-first, AI-powered detective game — a place where you don’t follow scripted options, but talk. With suspects. With witnesses. With secrets. You play the role of an investigator, asking questions, spotting lies, and solving strange, character-driven cases.
The project began as an experiment — a way for us to combine our curiosity about artificial intelligence with our love of storytelling, mystery, and strange human behavior. After nine months of building, tweaking, and running headfirst into dead ends, we decided: it’s time to let the public in.
Well… a few brave members of the public.

🧪 What’s happening now?
Right now, ChatMystery is in Early Access.
We’re limiting access to a small group of people (only 50 spots for now) via Patreon. Why?
- Because each conversation costs real money
- Because we want focused feedback before we scale
- Because we want to know: Does this even work?
If you decide to join, you’ll be part of something still forming. You’ll help shape it. And we’ll be grateful.
🧠 What’s the experience like?
ChatMystery isn’t about finding the one “correct” path.
It’s about how you play, what you ask, what you notice.
Every player approaches it differently — and we’re constantly surprised by what they discover. Sometimes it’s brilliant deduction. Sometimes it’s chaos. (Yes, someone really did manage to get eaten by a shark. Yes, someone else went on vacation with a suspect.)
We don’t offer guidebooks or walkthroughs.
Just a world, some suspects, and a mystery.
You do the rest.

This website is our home base.
Here you’ll find:
- Blog posts about our development journey
- Behind-the-scenes notes and weird bugs
- Info on how the game works, and how to join
- Stories about what it’s like building a tiny, human-scale AI game
The center of our community is our private Discord server — open to all patrons — where we share dev updates, answer questions, and gather theories. (And memes. Inspector Clank loves a good meme.)
👋 Who are we?
We’re two friends from the Czech Republic — Vojtěch Pszczólka and Martin “Mates” Berka.
We’re not a studio. We have no investor. No marketing team. Just two people trying to see if this strange little project can find its audience.
You can read more about us here (and yes, there are cats).

Thanks for stopping by.
If you like mysteries, stories, and talking to weird AI characters — we hope you’ll feel at home here.
